Menstruality Workshop for Women

Remember, Reclaim & Reconnect

to the wisdom, creativity & abundance in your cycle

I am a woman of many seasons, here I am in a new one, slowly waking up to what that means. - Cathy Broome

The menstrual cycle is a beautifully wise map for deeper connection and power within the female body, yet our education and understanding of this pivotal part of woman’s health in the west still remains rooted in much myth and mis-information; commonly seen as a negative or shameful experience.

But what if the only blood to fall naturally, without violence, from our body, was not seen as something to be ashamed by or hidden, but revered as the source of life that it is - whether you have birthed in a literal sense or not. How might that change how we both felt and experienced our cycle?

With a number of amazing menstrual educators and resources available now in the western world, these myths are slowly being re-written. Women are remembering and reclaiming for themselves the wisdom, magic and power held within their body’s natural, cyclical nature. It’s my deepest desire to be part of this movement, with huge respect and love for all the women in my life who were a part of my own menstrual re-scripting and honouring.

Join me in this workshop to learn

  • movement, breath and awareness practices to support women's bodies & all phases of your cycle.

  • female specific energetics, changes in hormones & nervous system patterns

  • an overview of the seasonal body and other creative maps to help you live more aligned to your body's natural changes.

  • how to track with the moon if you no longer or have never bled; also if are on some form of birth control.

  • how to work with your cycle as a personal map to better health

  • how menstrual wisdom can create more authentic and intimate relationships, with friends, partners & family.

  • unpacking stigma and shame. Learn various cultural views on menstruality that differ from the general western approach.

  • connection and conversation with other cycle holders - our stories are an essential part of removing shame and stigma.

  • practices and poems to take away to further your own enquiry.

I wholly recognise that not all women bleed and not all who bleed identify as women. You do not need to be cycle tracking or have any menstrual awareness to attend. This is for all curious and open minded women longing to feel more informed in their body, gain a fresh perspective and deepen belonging in their own skin. If you do cycle track and are familiar with the seasonal maps, come and share the wisdom you have already learned and continue to further your own enquiry.

Whilst menstrual consciousness and cyclical wisdom is hugely relevant for women in peri-menopause and menopause, this particular offering is focused to those in their menstrual years. I will touch briefly on the connection between how our menstrual years can inform our journey into menopause, but because of the breadth of that theme alone, for time reasons it will be a brief dip, rather than a dive. If you are peri/menopausal and interested in tapping into your own cyclicality through moon tracking, there will be enquiry to lean into, in which case you are very welcome to attend.
